چکیده

The aim of this study was to compare the medium-term outcomes patients randomized arthroscopic Bankart repair with (REMP) and without remplissage (NO REMP) for treatment traumatic recurrent shoulder instability Hill-Sachs lesions. At 2-year postoperative, those were found be at greater risk instability. In current study, these rates are reexamined a mean 4-years postoperative. This double-blinded trial REMP or NO between 2011 2017. Patients contacted in Spring 2020 by telephone asked standardized questions regarding subluxation, dislocation and/or reoperation that occurred on their shoulder. “Failure” defined as occurrence "recurrent instability” two more subluxations. One-hundred eight participants which 50 group 52 included. number months from surgery final follow-up 49.3 53.8 REMP. rate failure 8% (4/52) an average 23.8 post-operative 22% (11/50) 16.5 (p=0.036) (Figure 1). 10% (5/52) 24 versus 30% (15/50) 19.5 (p=0.008). Survival curves significantly different favoring both scenarios. There is less postoperative who undergo conjunction compared alone follow-up.

Combined arthroscopic Bankart repair and remplissage for recurrent shoulder instability.

PURPOSE The objective of our study was to summarize the available clinical evidence pertaining to the combined arthroscopic Bankart repair and remplissage procedure (BRR) for the management of recurrent anterior glenohumeral instability. METHODS We searched Medline (1946 to the third week of November, 2012), the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Embase (1947 to the 50th week of ...

Clinical Outcome of Arthroscopic Remplissage as Augmentation During Arthroscopic Bankart Repair for Recurrent Anterior Shoulder Instability

Purpose We aimed to assess functional outcomes and postoperative recurrence rate associated with the remplissage procedure used for bone augmentation with Bankart repair in patients with Hill-Sachs lesions after shoulder dislocation. Methods Preoperative computed tomography was performed to check for bony Bankart lesions, calculate the bone defect rate, and estimate the risk for re-dislocation...

Arthroscopic remplissage with Bankart repair for the treatment of glenohumeral instability with Hill-Sachs defects.

PURPOSE To determine whether arthroscopic remplissage with Bankart repair is an effective treatment strategy for patients with Bankart lesions and large Hill-Sachs defects. METHODS Between 2006 and 2008, 20 patients underwent arthroscopic Bankart repair with remplissage for the treatment of recurrent anterior glenohumeral instability and large Hill-Sachs defects. Preoperative imaging in all p...

The Influence of Arthroscopic Remplissage for Engaging Hill-Sachs Lesions Combined with Bankart Repair on Redislocation and Shoulder Function Compared with Bankart Repair Alone

BACKGROUND Recurrence of glenohumeral dislocation after arthroscopic Bankart repair can be associated with a large osseous defect in the posterosuperior part of the humeral head. Our hypothesis is that remplissage is more effective to prevent recurrence of glenohumeral instability without a severe motion deficit. METHODS Engaging Hill-Sachs lesions were observed in 48 of 737 patients (6.5%). ...
